Similar to massage, foam rolling may benefit sport recovery by reducing the duration of the Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS).

Studies have shown that when athletes perform foam rolling, they had reduced muscle soreness and increased voluntary muscle activation, vertical jump height, and flexibility. Dr. Logan put together her favorite lower extremity foam rolling exercises - enjoy!
