As two professionals who help professional and collegiate athletes succeed throughout their athletic journey, Dr. Catherine Logan, MD & Emily Perrin, LMSW, are well versed in the advancements of injury prevention, strength and conditioning, nutrition, mental health & performance, recovery & rehabilitation.

Building a Mindful Muscle

Working with Anxiety and Fear
Anxiety and fear are a normal part of your ACL recovery. This module will provide you with the tools to work with anxious thoughts and build the skills to cope with these thoughts.
Athlete Identity
Acknowledging the impact of injury on your identity and building ways to stay connected to your sport - as well as explore new dimensions of your athlete identity - are important steps in your ACL recovery captured in this module.
Mindfulness & The
Present Moment
Learning to cultivate your attention is a skill not only crucial for your ACL recovery, but for your eventual return to activity. Through meditation and visualizations, this module focuses on building your ability to stay in the present.
Self Talk
We will explore the value of self talk, whether it be positive or neutral, and how athletes around the globe utilize this technique. Learn how it will affect your ACL recovery journey.
Building Confidence,
Resilience & Adaptability
Learn techniques on how to adapt and the tools to foster your confidence and cultivate resilience. Explore new visualization and meditation techniques in this module.
Fear of Re-injury
Fear of re-injury is a known factor in individuals inability to return to activity even when their physical function has been restored. We walk you through the techniques on how to work through this normal phase of recovery.
